Set aside what you know. Most women who don’t get free are overly focused on all the wrong things or trying to muscle, manage or manipulate the right things. Either way it’s keeping them stuck. Setting aside what you know – or what you think you know – allows you to take an Etch-A-Sketch to your brain so you can be open for a new experience.
Connect with women who’ve been where you’ve been and have what you want. It’s easy to feel like you’re all alone when it comes to the food and frustration cycle. Many women are embarrassed about how they eat and obsess about food and the fear of being judged keeps them stuffing in silence and staying isolated. When you connect with women who get you because they’ve been where you’ve been and have gotten free, it not only helps you to realize you’re not alone but it also activates the hope that it’s possible for to be free too.3. Ask for help. Asking for help is hard for a lot of women – especially those of us who are perfectionists, high-achievers, coaches or leaders of some kind. We’re so used to being the inspiration for others, and having it together that it’s hard to be vulnerable and be the one who needs help. We also figure that we should be able to figure out our food because we’re so used to figuring everything else out on our own. What many women don’t realize is that when we ask for help, we open ourselves to receive infinite wisdom and inspiration which makes anything possible.
