I didn’t always binge – sometimes I’d just eat more than my body needed. I’d sit down for that restaurant-sized portion and even though I knew better, I’d finish everything on my plate with room for dessert.
But whether I was bingeing or just overeating, I’d end up feeling guilty about it.
My mind constantly thinking…“Did I eat too much? Did I have enough?”
I never had any peace. Even when I was trying to “be good” I would still obsess.
Food was just a different deal for me. Others could take a bite and lose interest in food. Not me. That first bite would set me off into another reality – where it was all about me and the food – and nothing could come between us.
