I would still show up and somewhere between the pleasantries and pecan pie…game over.
I’d slip into my usual mode of obsession and overeating, and the holiday would turn into a blur of fixating on my food and faking my way through conversations.
But today I feel free around my family and around the food. And this Thanksgiving, I want you to feel free too.
Which is why I recorded this video: No More Stuffing – 3 Keys To Being Free This Thanksgiving
If you can ‘carve’ out 13 min to watch this video before Turkey Day, these tools will help you feel more freedom around your family – even if you don’t have a food addiction.
So enjoy, and remember, just because it’s family doesn’t mean you have to do what you’ve alway done and act how you’ve always acted.
In any moment, you can set aside what you think you know, who you think you are are and how you think things are going to be and open yourself to a new experience of you, your family and your food. 🙂
In dedication of all things raw real and recovered,
