When Sara came to me just a few short months ago, she was anything but joyful. In fact, she was pretty sad and frustrated.
She was sick and tired of the all-or-nothing pattern she had with food – either restricting and trying to “ be good” or resigned and totally “bad.”
She wanted to be able to choose healthy, nourishing food and be in alignment so she could live authentically and feel connected.
But another part of her saw food as her reward for putting up with her emotionally demanding work and a sabotaging voice inside would say,” you deserve this!”
So on most days Sara would make a detour to the drive through on the way home.
Those fleeting moments of bingeing bliss were always followed by even more guilt and shame, and she’d wind up feeling even more disconnected and alone than before.
Even though Sara’s life for the most part was pretty great, she realized that she wasn’t really living at all.
She was hiding.
Her shame kept her from truly connecting and being intimate with her husband. Her obsession was robbing quality time with the kids, and her own discomfort in her body had her opting out of photos, avoiding social gatherings and missing out on important family events.
So how did Sara go from frustrated and to free?
Sara, like so many of my clients came to me obsessed with the food and what she should or shouldn’t eat.
I totally related to her because I used to be the exact same way — fixated on the food to try and fix my food problem.
But, like her, that approach kept me stuck. Because as I came to discover…
You can’t fix yourself free.
Trying to fix your food to get free from food addiction and obsession doesn’t work because it’s an incomplete solution that doesn’t get to the root of the problem.
Once Sara learned what her real problem was and what the real solution was, relationship with food transformed.
Her pattern of the after work binges stopped, she found herself intuitively drawn to more nourishing food, her ability to connect deeply with herself and others sky-rocketed and she started dropping weight without trying.
This is what freedom looks like.
Freedom doesn’t mean that you get better control over food.
Freedom means that the food problem just goes away.
I’m so passionate about helping more women just like Sara get free too because what I’ve witnessed time and time again is that when the food problem goes away, what replaces it is a sincere, authentic desire to help more people and make this world an even lighter and brighter place.
And I’m all for that because I want to live in the world where more women are lit up and lighting up others.
Which is why I created the Freedom Embodied LIVE 2-day event happening May 27 | 28 in Carlsbad, CA.
This event is specifically designed for women who want to help more people but who’re holding back and feeling inauthentic because they are still bingeing and totally obsessed with food.
I’ll be showing you what most smart, spiritual women are missing that’s been keeping them stuck – AND what to do instead – so you can activate your freedom right away and walk away feeling more connected and lighter.

And in the meantime, just remember this:
You can’t fixate and focus on food to get free.
So cut that out. Its not serving you.
You are not broken needing to be fixed. There is nothing inherently wrong with you!
You are just disconnected from yourself a little bit.
But that’s ok, I used to be that way too and I can help you find your way back to you. In fact, it would be my honor to.
In dedication of all things raw, real and recovered,
